Google Launching Chrome Laptop in Mid- 2011, Public Beta Coming Soon

Google seems to be getting its hands on everything it can. Google will be launching its own Chrome notebook sometime next year. The Chrome laptop will be released first to a select number of businesses and “beta” testers to play with before it’s made available to the public in mid-2011. Companies like Virgin America, Logitech, and even the Department of Defense will be using the beta version of the Chrome netbook (dubbed CR-48), which will likely come with a 12.1-inch display, a full-sized keyboard, 3G access, and a webcam for video chatting, but the good news is, you may also have a chance to test drive the beta version of the Chrome notebook. More details about the Chrome notebook include: ● No hard drives (flash storage). ● No caps lock keys. ● No control keys. ● Jailbreak-friendly. ● Verizon is offering 100MB of free data per month for the first two years you own a Chrome notebook, contract-free. While the beta testing model of the Chrome, the notebook (CR-48) will be brand- less, black, nondescript, and not for sale, Google will be working to design a purchase-ready notebook after the beta testing period has ended. There’s been no pricing or solid availability date mentioned yet. (Source: http://www.geeksugar.com/Google-Chrome-Notebook-12455807) Share...

The search results also allows the user to link to the actual official PRC website page where the passer’s name was listed. Also, search engine optimization or SEO was done allowing the website to land in top 5 positions for search keywords such as ‘prc passers’ and ‘prc exam passers’ on Google. It is within top 10 for ‘prc board exam’, ‘prc board passers’ and ‘prc board exam passers’. PRCPassers.com is a case study by Auza.Net for its SEO services. Google blocks data from Facebook as competition heats up

Google Inc. has decided to begin blocking Facebook and other Web services from accessing its user’s information, highlighting an ever growing rivalry between the two internet giants. Google made a subtle change to the guidelines that govern how external services can let their users import contacts from Google. Now those services will have to allow their users to export data in a manner similar to how Google handles data export, meaning Facebook will have to change its policy if it wants to allow more users to morph Gmail contacts with Facebook friends. However, as Mathew Ingram notes at GigaOm, now that Facebook has 500 million users the policy change is a bit late to really force Facebook into having to make any meaningful changes. All it means is that Facebook users won’t be able to automatically use their Gmail contacts to populate their Facebook friends list, but they’ll still be able to use contacts from Yahoo or Microsoft’s services, as well as just find contacts by searching on Facebook.
