The Bohol Chronicle launched on May 16, 2014 its online digital archive of all front page news since the first issue at www.boholchronicle.net. The launching was part of its 60th anniversary celebration held at the Bohol Tropics Resort, Tagbilaran City. The pioneering newspaper’s longevity was acknowledged as its greatest achievement by the various speakers at the event.
The digital archive is another pioneering project in Bohol by Auza.Net and Bohol Chronicle Radio Corporation and was was dubbed during the launch as “Bohol’s ultimate throwback”. The technical team organized by Auza.Net is composed of photographer/videographer Chester Impang, illustrator and graphics editor QB Impang, software developer Jay Paul Aying and the Auza.Net Summer 2014 OJTs or on-the-job trainees.
Starting this issue of the newspaper, the front page news and possibly other pages, will be added to the digital archive on an on-going basis.
