The Android version of the app is currently in development and will be released soon also. The mobile app provides convenience to users who are looking for businesses in the province. The user can browse through the categories as well as search for business names.
The app was developed by the talented developers and content specialists at Auza.Net. The company’s capability to develop apps on the iOS platform was made possible by the Department of Science and Technology funding assistance through the DOST-SETUP. The mobile app will be formally launched during the Sandugo Trade Fair at the Island City Mall on July 23-27, 2014.
From the app, the user can dial the contact number of the business, go to its website, find its address and location in a map even if the user is not connected to the Internet. The user can also share the link to the www.bohol.info listing of the business via Facebook, Twitter, Email or SMS.
Business owners may register on www.bohol.info and request ownership of their company listing if it already exists or create a new listing. The listing should include contact numbers, website, Facebook page, Twitter URL and of course, the description of the business and its products and services.
Bohol.Info is perhaps the only locally advertised online business directory in Bohol and the release of the mobile app will add another opportunity for businesses to be reached by potential customers.
