Bohol Bee Farm Launches New Website

Bohol Bee Farm launched their new website on August 1, 2015 after intense development work by the website development team at Auza.Net led by web developer Jason Tiro and content production with the Bohol Bee Farm management team led by Dominic Butalid and Hyacinth Bongalos. The old website was completely redesigned in order to modernize not only the design but also the backend part of the website. Bohol Bee Farm also upgraded their email system using cloud technologies that now allows them to store several years of emails while providing great user interface and flexible email groups implementations. The new website uses a new design template that is very flexible and Auza.Net is able to customize each page of the website as required by customers. Aside from this design flexibility, the template is also mobile friendly which means the website still looks great even on small screens of mobile devices. Photography was provided by Rhapsody Concepts and the Bohol Bee Farm website was the first website project of Auza.Net that used new photography techniques that enhanced the visual quality of the on-site photos as well as the product shots.  Looking at the website photos may actually make one hungry for a delightful dinner featuring original recipes developed by Bohol Bee Farm and using only organically grown ingredients, most of them, farmed on-site. Aside from the main website upgrade, Auza.Net also merged the online store of Bohol Bee Farm. Previously, the online store was a different website implementation and it was not straightforward to unify the look and feel of the main website with the online store.  Auza.Net will provide on-going technical...

Google Assisted Traveling Experiment in Korea to Asian Games 2014

by Jerome Auza My work takes me to some places where the local language is not English.  Sometimes, I get a local guide who does all the driving for me.  Sometimes, I’m on my own, just like this trip to Korea this weekend. I thought I chose a lucky date for this trip because the Asian Games 2014 is held in the same week at Incheon, Korea, less than two hours from my hotel.  Better yet, the Gilas team will play against Korea September 27, 2014. After downloading the Google Map app on my phone, I searched for directions to the Samsan World Gymnasium, the venue for the basketball game.  The fastest mode of transport is via bus.  Unfortunately, even if the instructions where in English, the destinations were shown in Korean. I did not get a prepaid SIM with data service because I was told WiFi is free practically everywhere.  As a backup, I took screenshots of the detailed directions. The trip started with a step… because I had to walk 800 meters to the first bus station.  Two hours later, I was at my destination.  Unluckily though, the tickets to the PHL-KOR basketball game was sold out.  A large crowd of Filipinos gathered around the ticket booth hoping that there would be extra tickets from other people for refund. With the game starting and the crowd inside cheering loudly, hopes for spare tickets diminished.  But we still got to watch the game live on cellphones with TV service.  Cheering and hopeful that the Gilas team will win given that they had a comfortable lead in the first...

Auza.Net Supplies Genuine Vivanco Structured Cabling Products

Auza.Net has started to supply genuine structured cabling products manufactured by Vivanco, a leading German manufacturer of CAT-5e, CAT-6 , fiber optic cables and structured cabling accessories. Vivanco has a manufacturing plant in China and can ship directly to the Philippines. Vivanco products are exclusively distributed in the country by D-Flex Solutions, Inc. Initially, Auza.Net will accept orders via email at info@auza.net. There are plans of selling the Vivanco products online for easy ordering in Bohol and even anywhere in the country without local Vivanco product dealers. Business owners who want to have reliable networks should ensure that cables and accessories are genuine and the supplier can assure that these pass standards. The use of cheap, sub-standard products may appear to be a low cost approach to setting up a wired network. However, in the long run, it becomes an expensive venture because of the need for frequent troubleshooting and oftentimes, replacement of the sub-standard materials. Choosing a great cabling partner and using genuine products like those from Vivanco helps ensure that investments in structured cabling will be for the long term. Auza.Net stands behind the quality of Vivanco products being itself a user of Vivanco product for its own network and of its clients. D-Flex Solutions, Inc., aside from distributing the network products, it also is providing the technical support that end users may require. Customers with relatively large structured cabling installations who require network certification can also avail of D-Flex’s free network certification. From today, you can order twisted pair cables, key stone jacks (RJ45), patch panels and patch cords for both CAT5e and CAT6 in shielded...

We might be able to display the equipment on our booth at Sandugo Trade Fair at the Island City Mall on July 23,...

Sen. Cayetano Meets BCCI

Senator Alan Peter S. Cayetano met with officers and members of the Bohol Chamber of Commerce and Industry on July 12, 2014 at the Metrocentre Hotel. During the lunch meeting, the senator solicited concerns from the businessmen. Mr. Loy Palapos, President of BCCI, introduced the senator and facilitated the meeting. Various issues were raised by the members of the chamber while the senator also presented to the group his proposals to the senate that would affect budget distribution and hopefully make government projects less concentrated in Metro Manila and instead spread out to the provinces. The senator mentioned projects he initiated for various community based organizations of drivers, food processors and others where he provided funding assistance which would be used by the organizations to help provide micro loans to its members at low interest rates. The senator hopes that such projects would help the Filipinos at the grassroots level by making it easier to get funding for micro businesses at low interest rates. The senator mentioned that the national government should do something similar to the conditional cash transfer program of the current administration under President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino, III but instead of giving it to low income families, funding would be given to micro businesses. The CCT, while it helps families ensure that their children get proper education, does not create a ripple effect in the economy. Sen. Cayetano believes that assisting business would help the businesses provide more jobs and increase opportunities for...

Auza.Net To Showcase Bohol.Info Mobile App at Sandugo Trade Fair

Auza.Net will showcase the Bohol.Info mobile app at the Sandugo Trade Fair at the Island City Mall on July 23-27, 2014. The iOS version of the mobile app is already available for download on the App Store while the Android version is still in development and is planned for release prior to the event. The Bohol.Info website and app is Auza.Net’s contribution in helping Bohol get ready for the ASEAN Integration in 2015 by helping businesses in Bohol increase their online presence. In a bigger marketplace that will be brought about by the ASEAN Integration, being included in a business listing like Bohol.Info will help increase exposure. Getting listed on www.bohol.info is especially beneficial for companies that do not have their own websites yet. During the Sandugo Trade Fair, Auza.Net will be assigning staff at the booth to assist businesses to add their companies in Bohol.Info. Bohol.Info is also a good starting point for suppliers looking for buyers and vice-versa. So by simply adding your company on Bohol.Info, you immediately increase your potential customers. Bohol.Info also is ranked quite high on Google search engine. The company is inviting all legitimate businesses to register on www.bohol.info in order to take advantage of the business directory listing which is free on both the website and mobile. In addition, additional exposure on premium locations on the app and the website may be requested for a reasonable fee. For more information, visit us on our booth during the Sandugo Trade Fair or contact us via email at info@auza.net or call/text Jovie at 09176220225....
